My name is Elizabeth Niño, and I am a passionate early childhood education consultant, curriculum designer, and founder of three innovative educational initiatives: Smart Baby USA, School of the Future Lab, and Imagine Music 4 Children. With over 15 years of experience, I specialize in creating neuroscience-based, multisensory learning environments for children from 3 months to 5 years old.
I’ve dedicated my life to bridging the gap between cutting-edge brain research and early education practices. My programs blend science, creativity, and emotion—combining movement, music, language, and family engagement to nurture children’s cognitive, emotional, and physical development. Bilingual in Spanish and English, I work closely with families, educators, and caregivers to co-create environments where babies and toddlers can thrive during the most critical stages of brain formation.
At Smart Baby USA, I offer semi-private enrichment sessions for infants (6–13 months) and personalized consulting for families to implement neuroscience-informed daily routines. We train caregivers to optimize brain development through safe, engaging activities that integrate motor, sensory, and cognitive learning.
In Colombia, School of the Future Lab serves both as a bilingual preschool and a living research center. We deliver a curriculum rooted in English immersion, STEM, music, and movement, using the “Micro Learning Moments” method—5–10 minute focused sessions proven to increase learning efficiency. This project is at the heart of my mission to make scientific discoveries in brain development accessible to early childhood education systems, creating smarter, emotionally balanced societies from the ground up.
But education, for me, is also art—and Imagine Music 4 Children is where my creativity takes the stage. I’ve written and composed original music and musicals specifically for young children, and directed several large-scale productions that bring their learning to life. From 2016 to 2018, I wrote and produced the holiday musical «Holidays Without Music?», staged for three consecutive years in New York City, Brooklyn, and East Stroudsburg. These original productions featured over 100 young performers, complete with handmade costumes, choreographed routines, and family-centered storytelling.
In 2017, I composed and launched «The Polar Express EQ», a full Christmas music album that culminated in a live performance at The Oculus in New York City on December 23rd—a magical, immersive experience watched by thousands. More recently, in 2022–2023, I created «Santa’s Musical House» in Colombia, transforming an entire home into a theatrical fantasy world where each room became a living scene. Families journeyed through music, light, and wonder, guided by original songs and stories that made learning feel like magic.
My academic path includes a Master of Education in Early Childhood Education (2025) from the American College of Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnological Production from Francisco de Paula Santander University. I’ve trained at institutions like Harvard (edX), The Juilliard School, Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, Broadway Dance Center, and NASA’s Space Exploration Educators Conference. Each step in my journey—whether scientific or artistic—has been grounded in the belief that the arts and neuroscience are not separate in a child’s development, but deeply interconnected.
As a researcher, I’ve published work like The Role of Boredom in Fostering Creativity in Early Childhood Education(ResearchGate), and I draw inspiration from thinkers such as Stanislas Dehaene, David A. Sousa, and Antonio Damasio.
My ultimate goal is to reimagine early education not as preparation for school, but as the foundation of a more intelligent, empathetic, and creative society. When we begin at the beginning—when the brain is most open and hungry—we don’t just teach children. We shape the future.
